Eric Holliday’s education policies are centered on equity, affordability, and providing diverse opportunities for all students. A key focus is expanding support for families with special needs, including enhanced recreational programs, dedicated support staff, and summer camps to ensure full inclusion. Eric Holliday also advocates for increased investment in alternative education and vocational schools, providing grants to support career readiness programs and opening doors to apprenticeships and hands-on work experiences after high school.

Public school construction and modernization will be a priority, with innovative funding solutions to expand classroom capacity and improve school facilities. Partnerships with local governments and private sectors will help ensure that parents have access to a wide range of educational options. Financial support for schools will be enhanced by reducing reliance on tax abatements and reallocating operational funds to classroom resources.

Library development will also be emphasized, with plans to eliminate overdue fees and invest in school libraries to create community hubs. To improve affordability, Eric Holliday for Assembly will advocate for capping tuition increases at public universities and scaling back large capital projects to reduce financial pressures on students. Additionally, Eric Holliday supports expanding 529 College Savings Plans and increasing funding for county colleges to improve workforce readiness.

Finally, Eric Holliday will work to reform the school funding formula to ensure more equitable distribution of resources and prioritize universal pre-K expansion, addressing school segregation, and enhancing mental health services in schools. Currently the school funding formula is causing issues in several towns due to the way it is structured. It's antiquated and isn't fair. One of the main reasons residents in Bordentown and across Burlington County have pushed for Eric Holliday to run is to ensure to address this issue, because the current Assembly members have not addressed it and have made significant budget cuts to our schools. Education is the main driver of upward mobility. Eric Holliday will fight for a quality education for everyone.
